Obituary for Michael M Wells

Michael M  Wells
Michael M. Wells, 56, of Point Pleasant passed away on April 10th 2013. Born in Montclair to the late W.Robert and Mary Michaela Wells, he was a former longtime resident of Pine Brook, and raised his family in Sparta, before moving to Point Pleasant twelve years ago. Michael was a butcher with Dutch Prime in Long Branch. Mr. Wells had a great passion for fishing, an active member of NJFishing.com, he enjoyed time spent with his closest friends who considered him the life of the boat, always keeping everyone focused and upbeat. He was the former president of the Sparta Little League Association, and most recently, a field hockey umpire for the Jersey Shore area. Michael was known for his big heart, lending a helping hand to anyone in need, he had a love for animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed most of all quality time spent with his cherished family and friends.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years Diane Renee Wells (Triebull), his loving children, Kimberly Atanasoff and Michael “Mick” Wells, his dear sisters, Cathy Wells Clarke of Pittsburg, PA and Paula Wells Baxter and husband Glenn of Jacksonville, NC, his cousins, nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michael’s memory to Restore The Shore c/o Hometown Heros 27 Washington St. Toms RIver, NJ, 08753
