Obituary for Stanley Hajbowicz

Stanley  Hajbowicz
Stanley Hajbowicz, 81, of Wall, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2014 at his home. Born in Poland, he was a former resident of Jersey City and North Arlington before moving to Wall Township 45 years ago. Mr. Hajbowicz was a U.S. Army Veteran and graduate of Newark College of Engineering. He worked as an Electrical Engineer at Ft. Monmouth retiring in 1997. Stanley was an avid bowler, and dedicated to the league at Sea Girt Lanes for many years. He enjoyed quality time spent with his family, especially his cherished granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his dear brother Frank Hajbowicz a World War II casualty, and his beloved wife Albina in 1990.
Surviving are his loving daughter Laura Jones, his cherished granddaughters Kaitlyn and Samantha Jones, his dear sister Sophie Borkowski, and his nephew Bruce Borkowski and wife Hildi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 14th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Tuesday, April 15th at St. Dominic R.C. Church, Brick. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
