Obituary for Peter J. "Peta" Trapani II

Peter J. Trapani II, 22, of Belmar was abruptly taken from us in the prime of his life on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, with his devoted mother and family at his bedside.

Peter was born in Red Bank and had been a lifelong resident of Belmar. He was known for his kind heart, generous nature, sense of humor and ability to bring a smile to everyone´s face. He loved to cook Italian recipes and share great meals with friends and family. Friends fondly recall his knickname, ¨Peta¨, his talent for skateboarding and passion for music.

Peter is survived by his devoted mother Nancy Ann Trapani of Belmar, NJ with whom he lived, his father Peter J. Trapani of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Hoboken, NJ, his maternal grandmother Nancy Napp of Spring Lake, NJ, his maternal family, uncle Donald Napp and wife Cindy of Spring Lake, his aunt Claudia Napp Webber and husband Douglas of Winthrop, Washington, his paternal family and many cousins in NJ, FL, OR, WA, NY and CA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 10:30am at St. Rose Church in Belmar, NJ. There will be no prior visitation at the funeral home.
