Obituary for Glenn Rumsey

Glenn Rumsey 75, of Lakewood, NJ died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his home. Born in Campbell, NY, Glenn lived in Middletown for 28 years before moving to Lakewood 16 years ago. Glenn worked as a process operator for Exxon in Linden until his retirement. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. His greatest love was his wife Elizabeth and their children and grandchildren. Glenn was predeceased by his siblings; Gerald Rumsey, Anna Jacoby, Doris Smith. Surviving is his beloved wife of 48 years Elizabeth Rumsey, 2 daughters; Ronalyn Savage and her husband Tom of Doylestown, PA, Stacy Fisher and her husband Jim of Brick, NJ, 4 grandchildren; Steven Fisher, Kevin, Kendall, and Kaitlyn Savage. He also leaves his brothers and sisters; Tracy Rumsey, Wanda Van Husen, Roger Rumsey and John Rumsey.
Visiting will be Tuesday, from 5-9 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd. at Rt. 70 Brick, NJ. A funeral service will be offered Wednesday, 10 am at the funeral home followed by committal in NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
