Obituary for Maryann Corvino (Drakas)
Maryann Corvino, 69, of Brick, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Luzurne, PA to the late Frank and Julie Drakas, she was raised in Bloomfield, NJ, and was a longtime resident of South Orange, before most recently moving to Brick. Maryann dedicated her life to taking care of her family; she enjoyed going shopping, cooking, and spending holidays baking for her family with her daughters.
Surviving are her beloved husband on 48 years, Nicholas Corvino, her loving daughters Debbi Corvino, and Jennifer Corvino Crane and husband Paul, and her cherished granddaughter Dana Madonia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will held at 3:00PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Maryann’s memory to the American Heart Association or Jersey Shore Animal Shelter.
