Obituary for Loydra Jane Travlos (Cobaugh)

Loydra “Toy “ Jane Travlos 66, of Ocean, NJ died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she lived in Long Branch, NJ before moving to Ocean 27 years ago. She worked as a nurse at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ until her retirement. Toy enjoyed playing tennis with friends at the Ocean Pool Club, going to the gym and traveling with her family. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst.
Surviving are her beloved husband Arthur L. Travlos of 44 years, 2 daughters; Christina Tongring and her husband Greg of West Allenhurst, NJ, Amanda Foukas and her husband Savvas of Little Silver, NJ, 5 grandchildren; Connor, Owen, Evangeline, Georgia and Alexandra Jane. She also leaves her brother Tim Cobaugh of Atlanta, GA and sister Nan Miller of Hummelstown, PA. ,along with many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 AM at First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst. Burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to First United Methodist Church of Oakhurst, 103 Monmouth Rd., Oakhurst, NJ 07755 or to Peru Congregational Church, P.O. Box 212 Peru, VT 05152.
