Obituary for Elizabeth Jane Constantine (Del Negro)

Elizabeth (Bette) Constantine, 81, of Brick, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Born in Plainfield to the late James and Louise Del Negro, she was a longtime resident of North Plainfield before moving to Brick in 1996. Bette was a bookkeeper for Mcarthur Oil of Clark for many years. She enjoyed playing Bocce, bowling, traveling and doing yoga. Bette was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and spending quality time with her cherished family.
She was preceded in death by her dear siblings, Philomena, David, William, Eugenia, Eugene, Angelo, and Julia.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years Raymond Constantine, her loving children, Deborah Marchio and husband James, Scott Constantine and wife Diane, and Amy Yates and husband Mark, her cherished grandchildren Nicole, Dillon, Nicholas, and Jack, and her dear sister Mary Matthews and husband Harry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00AM on Wednesday, September 3rd at St. Dominic R.C. Church, Brick. Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
