Anna Jarvis, 93, of Brielle, NJ, passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on Tuesday, September 16, 2014.

Anna was born and raised in Dunbar, PA. She was a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ, before coming to Brielle 3 years ago. In addition to her career, Anna was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved tennis and shopping.

Anna was predeceased by her daughters, Arlene Kayser and Kathleen Brzezowski, as well as by her siblings, Mary Protus, and John, Stephen, and Michael Bogusky. She is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Monica O’Donnell and Jay Feigus, Shannon Broderick, Joseph Brzezowski and Jennifer Ward, and Stephanie and Rory Schmidt. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Julia, Emily, Sarah, Liam, Kate, and Finley, as well as by other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Route 35, Wall, on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at 4 p.m., followed by visiting until 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2310 Highway 34, Ste 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
