Obituary for Robert A Fox

Robert A. Fox, 87, of Brick, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to the late George and Catherine Fox, he proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy as a Fireman, 2nd Class. Robert went on to work for the New York Shipping Association, Inc. as a Supervisor for many years before his retirement in 1987 when he moved to Brick, NJ. He was very active in the Church of the Visitation, and enjoyed quality time spent with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dear brothers, George and Raymond Fox, and his first wife Ruth Fox in 2008.
Surviving are his loving wife Soledad B. Fox and his dear step-daughter Clarissa Joyce Ungos.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 23rd at St. William the Abbot Church, Howell. Interment will follow at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
