Janet Hardy Tickner of Mantoloking passed away peacefully on October 26, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reginald Tickner, Jr. of Bay Head, her parents Dr. John W. and Alma Page Hardy, of Brielle, and her uncle Robert Parker Hardy, of Stowe, VT.
Mrs. Tickner was a graduate of nursing and business school who had a career in the Optical Profession for 24 years. She was a dedicated Emergency Room Volunteer at Point Pleasant Hospital for 13 years.
Surviving, her loving daughters Teri Damon Lacey and husband James F. of Brick, Sharon Damon Gaffney and husband Dennis of Trinity, NC, and Gail Damon Padfield and husband Stan of Venice, FL, her grandchildren, Ryan Lacey and Austine Lacey Kelly, Cheryl and Dennis Gaffney, and Stanley and Zackary Padfield, her great grandchildren, Ford, Lola and Ollie Kelly, her sister Carolyn Hardy Murray of Point Pleasant, and godson J.P. Murat.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the charity of your choice.
