The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Moritz Hahner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Marty our longtime neighbor and friend who was more like family, was so very kind and always offered his help in any way he could. We'll also remember his cheerful whistling as he worked in his gardens and the many conversations, emails and wonderful laughs we shared.

Condolence: To Gail, Scott, Douglas, and all of your extended families, I want to send my sympathy for your loss. I loved your Dad and have so many fond memories of your whole family growing up. I uploaded a picture of when I was in NJ 2 summers ago. I hadn't seen him in so many years, and when he opened the door, he had a huge smile on his face, and I'll never forget that big hug he gave me! I had so many great times at your house and your parents always made me feel so welcome, even if your dad constantly had to yell and us for staying up talking too loud! I will always remember both of your parents with love, and I wish you all comfort in your very special memories that you have. I wish so much I could be there for the service, but you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Linda & Michael and family
