Thelma Doris Glynn, 94, of the Leisure Village community in Lakewood, N.J., died peacefully at her home on November 25, 2014.
Born in Mt. Holly, N.J., she resided in Spring Lake Heights for forty-nine years before moving to Leisure Village thirteen years ago.
A homemaker, she was a parishioner of the Church of St. Uriel the Archangel, Sea Girt, N.J. and the D.A.R.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Captain John W. Glynn, Jr., who passed away in 1976. She was also predeceased by two brothers and her sister.
She is survived by her son, John W. Glynn, III, Brick, N.J., and her daughters, Marilyn Henry, Houston, Tex., and Marian Fallon, Spring Lake Heights , N.J. Thelma is also survived Six Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren.
Visiting will be Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 4-7 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35, Wall, N.J., followed by the Burial Office at 7 PM with Father Russell Griffin, SSC, Rector of the Church of St. Uriel the Archangel, officiating. Everyone is invited to attend the burial on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1 PM in St. Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
