Obituary for James Edward McGrath
James Edward McGrath, 63, of Brick passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. Mr. McGrath was the area vice president of national sales at JP Turner & CO. LLC in Red Bank.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he moved to Brick in 1986.
Mr. McGrath was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jule McGrath. Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Diane G. (Weguelin) McGrath; three sons, James Brian, Kevin William and Brian Thomas McGrath all of Brick; sisters, Kathleen Devlin of South Floral Park, NY and Joan Falbo of O’Fallon, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visiting will be on Monday from 3-7pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. The service will be held on Wednesday, 11am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River. Donations may be made in his name to Hackensack UMC – Leukemia Fund 360 Essex Street suite 301, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
