Obituary for J. Warren Pavelec

J. Warren Pavelec, 97, of Toms River passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Shorrock Gardens in Brick, NJ. Originally from Rahway, NJ he moved to the shore area in 1975, residing in Toms River for the past 20 years.
Warren spent 27 years managing Leesville Auto in Rahway, with his brother-in-law, Jack Brennan. He was known by many antique collectors as your go-to person for restoration of antique clocks. He was a friend of the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury.
Proceeded in death by his father and mother, William and Margaret Pavelec, by his wife of 63 years, Adelaide (Gassaway) Pavelec and brother, William (Bill) Pavelec. He is survived by his two daughters, Virginia (Ginny) Granata and Sue Warren of Toms River; a grandson and his wife, Jeffrey and Christine Granata; and a great granddaughter, Abigail Granata of Wall; sister, Marge Rotundo of Toms River.
Visiting will be on Saturday 9-11am at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A funeral service will be held 11am on Saturday in the funeral home officiated by Rev. C. David McKirachan of the Presbyterian Church at Shrewsbury. Burial will be a The Hazelwood Cemetery, Rahway, NJ.
