Thomas Patrick Hannan 59, of Wall, NJ died Sunday, November 22, 2015. Born in Newark, NJ, Thomas lived in Florham Park, NJ before moving to Wall 30 years ago. He worked as a salesman for several software companies, along with running an independent window cleaning business.

He was an avid Arsenal Football Club fan and founding member of the Jersey Shore Gooners. A charismatic storyteller and joker, he was welcoming friend to all who would drop everything to help family, friends and neighbors, whether by lending a hand on home projects, cooking dinner, or buying a round at the pub.

Tom is survived by his loving children Ashley Hannan and her husband Guilherme Moreira of Brooklyn, NY, and Rio de Janeiro, and Patrick Hannan of Wall, NJ; his siblings Bill, Margaret, and Jim (and wife Marybeth) Hannan; his nephew and nieces Sean, Kerry, Colleen and Katie Hannan along with many Hannan and McGee cousins; and his former wife Kim Hannan. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Betty Hannan.

O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall is in charge of arrangements. Committal will be private. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Manasquan, NJ, followed by a celebration of his life at D'Arcy's Tavern in Bradley Beach, NJ. In lieu of flowers, his children request donations in his name to Soccer for Peace or Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
