Obituary for Federico Taurozzi
Federico Taurozzi, 76, of Brick, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2016. Born in Morrone, Italy to the late Nicola and Maria Taurozzi, he was a longtime resident of Newark, before moving to Brick in 2010. Mr. Taurozzi was the Vice President of Cosmetic Essence in Edison for many years before his retirement. He was a former parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church in Belleville. Federico enjoyed playing soccer and bocce ball, he was known for his infectious smile and great sense of humor, and appreciated a good meal with good friends.
He was preceded in death by his dear sister Enza Caruso
Surviving are his beloved wife Josephine Taurozzi (nee Lattene), his loving children, John Taurozzi and wife Chantale, and Elisa Taurozzi, and his four cherished grandchildren, Dante, Giovanni, Giuseppe, and Marchella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 3rd at St. Peters R.C. Church, 406 Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Federico’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 331 Newman Springs Rd # 143, Red Bank, NJ 07701
