Obituary for Dorothy Grace Cuffari (Valentini)
Dorothy Grace Cuffari, 53, of Brick passed away suddenly on Tuesday,
February 2, 2016 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mrs. Cuffari
was a waitress for many years last working for LongHorn Steakhouse in
Howell up until her passing. She was a member of St. Paul’s United
Methodist Church in Brick.
Born on a military base in Mannheim-Kaefertal, Germany, she grew up
in Lincroft and lived in Oceanport before moving to Brick over 30 years
ago.
Surviving is her husband of 33 years, David P. Cuffari; daughters, Jessica
Lynn Cuffari of Brick and Christina Marie Cuffari of Fairfield, CT;
brother, Wayne Valentini of South Carolina; sister, Valerie Valentini of
Long Branch; and nieces and nephews, Alyson Turgano, Scott
Stromenger, John Cuffari, Megan Cuffari, Fred Valentini, Raymond
Valentini and the late Justin Stromenger.
Visiting will be on Saturday from 1-4pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home,
505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A brief prayer service will be held at 4pm
in the funeral home followed by a 4:30pm memorial service at St. Paul’s
United Methodist Church in Brick. Final interment will be private.
