Obituary for Richard John Colbert
Richard J. Colbert, 64 of Wall Township passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Richard was born in the Bronx, NY and had received his BA from Manhattan College and he went on to receive his Masters and Principals Certificate from Georgian Court College.
He had been employed in Education and was employed as the Principal at the Oakwood School, Tinton Falls for over 30 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Edward W. and Janet McCarthy Colbert, surviving is his daughter Sarah and husband Daniel Lang of Neptune, his brother Edward W. Colbert and wife Kathleen of Houston, Tx. and former wife Jody Magrino of Neptune City.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday from 5:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:30pm pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Private cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in memory of Richard.
