Condolence: I am sorry for the loss of your dear Jules. I too worked at APP, and I also loved reading that paper. We struggle with the question of why something like this happens, why people even have to die at all. God hates when things like this happen. He has a purpose that includes "death being no more" -Rev. 21:3, 4, as well as promising to “undo” death with the resurrection of our loved ones – John 5:28, 29. Condolence: My condolences to JP III and family. I worked for Jules and the Asbury Park Press for 25 years. Jules always had a kind word anytime he saw me at work. He will be missed.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Jules passing! My condolences to Jane and the family. He was a good person and a great and fair boss. I have known him since I was a very young man. I also worked for him at the Press for over 20 years. He will be missed very much by all who knew him.

Condolence: I worked for Jules at The Press first as a teen-aged apprentice photoengraver in the early 50s, then under his leadership, as a reporter and editor, for 38 years. At one time Jules and I were the two most-senior employees of the newspaper. He was a fine gentleman, an astute businessman and a great leader... I am honored to have known him.
