The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Margaret McCarthy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: God has taken a strong, great woman. He gave her to us for 93 years to enjoy her beauty and strength. She was a loving mother, dedicated to her children. She loved Holy Cross and gave her all to the parish and school. She never thought twice about helping out in school whenever she was needed. What would I have done without her? Even in moments of "differences of opinion" I knew she was doing or saying for the benefit of the school. Her love for the children and the school was above all else. She gave countless hours to the school. My own children remember her fondly and love her to this day. May she rest in peace and in God's loving hands. We will remember you fondly and will keep you in our hearts forever,
