Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Theresa Magyar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Theresa Eleanor “Ellie” Magyar 86, of Seaside Park, NJ died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Sunrise at Wall. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ where she graduated from Hamilton High School in 1949, Ellie moved to Seaside Park in 1966. Ellie was an administrative assistant for the Borough of Seaside Park for many years. She was a member of Seaside Park Union Church, where she was also a member of the choir. She was an exceptional gardener who loved nature and the outdoors, especially Montana and Yellowstone National Park.
Ellie was predeceased by her sister Elsie Osworth. Surviving are her children; Nancy Baggaley of Mt. Holly, NJ, Matthew Magyar of Spring Lake Hts. and Glenn Magyar of Kailua, HI. She also leaves 4 grandchildren; Laura (Baggaley) Doyle, Matt Baggaley, Tyler Magyar, Aubree Magyar, and 1 great granddaughter Clara Rose Doyle.
Memorial Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 3-7 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Yellowstone Forever at www.yellowstone.org.
