Susan E. Cunion

Susan E. Cunion, 66, of Lakewood, passed away on December 3, 2016 at the Concord Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lakewood, NJ, after an 11-month hard-fought battle with her cancer. Born in El Paso, TX, Susan lived in Long Branch prior to moving to Lakewood 17 years ago.
Susan was a graduate of Middletown North High School and attended Brookdale Community College. She loved crocheting, doing craft projects, and sharing her creations with her friends. She was also an avid reader and loved playing with her pet parrot.
She was predeceased by her father Alfred Robinson in 1993. Susan is survived by her husband of 22 years, the love of her life, Jack Cunion. She is also survived by her mother, Anne Robinson, New Monmouth; her sister Beverly, Tequesta, Florida; her daughter Tammy Ronan, Belford and her grandchildren Dana Roman and Brandon Nelson, Belford.
In keeping with her wishes, funeral arrangements were private by the O’Brien Funeral Home, Hwy 35, Wall, NJ. Donations in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 14 Commerce Drive #301, Cranford, NJ 07016. Letters of condolences may be sent through the web at www.obrienfuneralhome.com.
