Obituary for Catherine Richtmyer (Faber)

Catherine Richtmyer, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home in Brick. Born and raised in Parsippany, Catherine had resided in Point Pleasant for many years before moving to Brick in 1999.

Mrs. Richtmyer worked as a Certified Home Health Aide, retiring from Preferred Health Mates in Brick.

Catherine was a member of The Church in Brielle and the Ladies Auxiliary of Pt. Pleasant Beach Fire Company.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Grant Richtmyer.

Surviving are her children; Alan Richtmyer and his wife Ashley and Nancy Trost; and her two grandchildren, Brian and Caroline Trost.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.
