Ronald Joseph Brandmayr, 87 of West Deal, Ocean Twp. passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Hoboken and had resided in Neptune before moving to West Deal 47 years ago.
Ronald received his B.S. in Science and Engineering from Rutgers University, graduating in 1952. He then went on to proudly serve in the US Army from 1952 until being honorably discharged in 1954. Following his military service he was employed as a Ceramics Engineer at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown for 38 years and was a member of the American Ceramic Society. Ron was a family man who loved life's simple pleasures – breakfast with a good cup of coffee, walking on the boardwalk, old movies and talk radio, and his daily trip to Wegman’s. He was a terrific ballroom dancer and widely read on astronomy. He had a very sharp mind for details. He will be happily remembered and sadly missed by his children and grandchildren.
