Obituary for Wayne K. Lutz Sr.
Wayne K. Lutz, 76, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at home.
Wayne was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of the Shore. He worked as an electrician for Brown’s Electric, Neptune, before retiring. He enjoyed tinkering with electronic devices, and was active at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church in Spring Lake.
Wayne was predeceased by his brothers, Daniel, Roger and Donald Lutz. He is survived by his son, Wayne V. Lutz, his grandchildren, Devin and Kayla Lutz, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Lutz. He is also survived by other relatives and friends, and particularly those from St. Andrew’s Church.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, from 10AM-12PM, with a funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or via www.stjude.org.
