The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joanne Dolan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Joanne Dolan 57 of Manasquan, NJ died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Manor by the Sea. Born in Orange, NJ Joanne lived in Spring Lake Hts., before moving to Manasquan 8 years ago. Joanne graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from State University of New York, Brockport. She worked in sales for Kraft Industries, North Bergen, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake. Joanne enjoyed playing cards with friends, and loved the beach. She had a bit of a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. She also loved to take care of other people.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents; Joseph and Janet Dolan. Surviving are her beloved son, Michael Dolan of Manasquan, NJ, 3 sisters; Patricia Dolan of Manasquan, NJ, Janice Gore and her husband Thomas of Salisbury, MD, Tama Ferrara and her husband Vincent of Williamsburg, VA. She also leaves 4 nephews; Joe Gore, Chris Gore, Matt Ferrara, DJ Ferrara and a niece; Amanda Ferrara.
Visiting will be Sunday, from 4-7 PM, and Monday from 9-10 AM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, 10:30 AM at St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake. Committal will be private. Donations may be made in her name to American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
