Jane Le Pore, aka "Miss Jane," 66, of Howell, passed away suddenly at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She was a devoted wife, a reverential mother, and affectionately known by her adoring grandchildren as "Grammy" or "Mimi."

She was born in Elizabeth, raised in Clark, lived in Roselle and Brick, before moving to Howell in 2006.

Miss Jane was an avid artist and fervent lover of Waterford crystal, Dooney & Bourke purses, Pinot Noir and Merlot, and everything purple. As an accomplished florist, she owned the 'Petal Pantry' and as an expert craftmaker she made custom ornamentals, decorations, and window draperies for every season and holiday, clothes, and Halloween costumes for her children. Her artistry will be missed.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Irene Herson.

Surviving is her husband of 42 years, Anthony Le Pore; sister, Danielle Hyatt of California; brother, John Herson and his wife Katie of Clark; daughter, Jennifer Shirvanian of West Long Branch; son, Daniel Le Pore and his wife Liberty of Leesburg, VA; four grandchildren, Michael, Danny, Reilly, and Reagan; and a former son-in-law, Richard Shirvanian of West Long Branch.

Visiting will be on Monday from 3-7pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road in Brick. A prayer service will be conducted at 7pm in the funeral home. Final interment will be held privately.
