Obituary for Marilyn Ann Pardon (Haag)

Marilyn Ann Pardon, 83 of the Four Seasons Community at Wall Township passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at her home with her 3 devoted children at her bedside.
Born in Hoboken to the late Frank and Irene Cella Haag, Marilyn graduated from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She went on to become an Occupational Therapist at Bellevue Hospital, New York.
Following her career in Occupational Therapy, she went on to raise her 3 children and care for her family in Interlaken before moving to Wall Township in 1982.
Marilyn was very active in the New Beginnings Christian Church, Brick where she spent her time and was involved in many different church activities. She was also an avid tennis player up until a few years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband Enrique T. Pardon MD, her brother Frank Haag Jr, and sister Antonia Coopersmith.
Marilyn is survived by her devoted children, Enrique “Rick” F. Pardon of Wall, Paul A. and Ilene Pardon M.D.’s of Wayside, Ocean Twp., and Marisa E. and Stephen Hunt of Spring Lake, her 7 grandchildren Max, Devin, and Erica Pardon, and Shaun, Lily, Henry, and Charlie Hunt, and her dear brother Paul Haag of Maywood, NJ., and sister, Caroline Saffron of Reno, NV.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Private cremation will follow at the convenience of the family.
Flowers accepted or a donation would be appreciated in Marilyn’s name to the New Beginnings Christian Church, 236 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home on Wednesday.
