Obituary for Licinio A. ""Sonny"" Reverendo

Licinio A. “Sonny” Reverendo, 76, of Manasquan, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017.
Mr. Reverendo, known as “Lee” to his family, was born in Bunheiro, Portugal, and came to the United States at the age of 8. He was lived in the Ironbound section of Newark before moving to Manasquan in 1983. He was the owner-operator of JMC Construction, Farmingdale, for many years, before retiring.
Mr. Reverendo was predeceased by his brothers Albert and Antonio. He is survived by his beloved wife Anna (Silva), and by their sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Noelle Reverendo, Wall, Stephen and Lori Reverendo, Fall River, Mass., and Michael and Maria Reverendo, Spring Lake. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Corinne, Michael, Ava, Matthew and Caroline Reverendo.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, from 4-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Denis Church, Manasquan, on Friday, at 9:30 AM, followed by entombment at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Reverendo’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or at www.www.stjude.org.
