Frank X. Reilly, 92, of Allaire Country Club Estates, Wall Township, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Frank was born in Jersey City and had resided in North Arlington from 1956 until moving to Wall Township in 1997. As a resident of Wall,he and his wife were communicants of St. Rose Church, Belmar.
He was a proud veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps in North Africa. He had been employed as a pipefitter for Exxon Corporation at Bayway Refinery for 38 years. Frank was an avid NY Giants and NY Mets fan.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary (nee Boyle) Reilly, a grandson Shane Funcheon, his sister Virginia and her husband Joseph Meyer.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Eileen (nee Shiel) Reilly; his devoted children and their spouses Kathleen Reilly and husband Reggie Hackshaw, John and Peggy Reilly, Michael Reilly, Maureen Funcheon and husband John, and Daniel Reilly and wife Maribel Aleman; his 7 grandchildren- Matthew, Christopher, Kevin, Mia, Hope, Colin and Mackenzie; and his sister Bernice Reilly.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ 07719. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Rose RC Church, 603 7th Ave., Belmar, NJ 07719. Private interment will be in the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.

In lieu of flowers the Reilly family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home on Sunday.
