Obituary for Joseph C. Cosentino

Joseph C. Cosentino, 70, of Wall, died on Sunday, August 13, 2017 surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Long Branch, Joe went on to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he began a career as a hairstylist – a career which he not only loved but one in which he excelled. Joe’s love of his Lord was matched only by his love and devotion for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joe was predeceased by his wife, Susan in 1990 and wife, Constance in 2009. He leaves his sons – Jaycee Cosentino & wife Ellen of Manasquan, and Dante Cosentino & wife Leanne of Brick; his beloved fiancé Susan Galbraith of Manalapan; his granddaughters Veronica and Alexandra; his sister Linda Allen of Florida; as well as stepsons Justin Roy & wife Kacey and their sons Ben and Luke, and Josh Roy & wife Molly, and many other loving relatives and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Wednesday from 2 -6 pm. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday at 5 PM. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shiloh Baptist Church, 44 Union Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
