Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lucy Campbell can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Lucy Diane Campbell (Copeland )

Diane Campbell, age 75, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised on Staten Island, Diane resided in Wall for 15 years before moving to Brick where she has resided for the past 20 years.

Diane worked as a Teacher for The Children’s Center of Monmouth County in Neptune for 20 years before retiring in 2009.

Diane’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed keeping in touch with her lifelong friends from Staten Island “The Birthday Club” as well as her passion for teaching.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Campbell in 2008; her brother John Copeland and her sister Jane Denyeau.

Surviving are her two loving children; Jennifer Havern and her husband Timothy and David and Tara Campbell; her five grandchildren, Andrew, Meghan, Erin, Kristen and Sean; her sister in law and brother in law, Barbara and Bob Reilly; her brother in law Bruce Campbell and his wife Judy and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 12-3 p.m. followed by a 3:00 p.m. memorial service at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. Cremation was private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
