Obituary for Benjamin R. "Ben" Kriss
Ben R. Kriss, 79, of Wall, N.J., passed into eternal life on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.
Ben was born in New Brunswick and raised in Sayreville. He retired from the United States Postal Service in October, 1992. His Postal career of 29 years included the positions of Customer Service Representative, Manager of Retail Sales, as well as Postmaster of Hampton and Raritan, N.J., and Acting Postmaster of Annandale and Old Bridge, N.J. He also bartended for 20 years in several hotel lounges.
Ben is survived by his children, Michael Kriss, of Brick, Debbie Zub, of Bangor, Pa., and Danny Kriss, of Sayreville, N.J. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Breanna, Rebecca, Abbey, Daniel, Jr., and Nicole, and a great-grandson, Noah.
There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service, to be held at St. Anne’s Cemetery, 1610 Allenwood Road, Wall, on Friday, October 13, 2017, at 1:30 P.M.
