Jane Coyle, age 96, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Leisure Park in Lakewood, NJ. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Jane resided in Wayne, NJ for 30 years before moving to Lakewood in 1985. Mrs. Coyle was a graduate of St. Angela Hall Academy in Brooklyn and a communicant of St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick.
Jane is predeceased in 2002 by her cherished husband of 60 years, Thomas Coyle. They shared a loving and active life, which included ballroom dancing, travel, summers at the shore, tennis and a love of the theater. Jane spent a lifetime performing in both professional and community theater, most recently with the Spring Lake Community Theatre Company, appearing in principle roles in My Fair Lady, Oklahoma, and A Christmas Carole. Jane is also predeceased by her sisters, Mary and Elizabeth and twin brother, James.
Mrs. Coyle is survived by her children, Thomas Coyle and wife Jeanette of Parsippany, NJ; Ellen Marion and husband John of Vernon, NJ; Mary Carroll and husband Robert of Wayne, NJ; Cheryl Silverman and husband Robert of Marlton, NJ; and Victoria Mathis and husband Randy of Brick, NJ; as well as 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
Friends and family are invited to A Memorial Mass on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick, NJ, followed by luncheon at The River Rock Restaurant, also in Brick.
