Jay W. Suhl, age 50, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center surrounded by his loving wife, Patricia who never left his side. Born in Neptune, Jay has been a lifelong Brick resident.

Jay was a communicant of Epiphany RC Church in Brick. He was an avid Yankee fan but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his sons, Thomas and Patrick.

Throughout his illness Jay showed nothing but strength and courage.

He is predeceased by his father, Jay Rudolph Suhl.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 20 years, Patricia Byrne-Suhl; his two loving sons, Thomas Jay Suhl and Patrick Bryan Suhl; his mother and stepfather Joan and Bill Robbins; his brother Erik Suhl and his wife Tina; and his sisters Jill Erickson and husband Kevin and Holly Mamau and her husband Dave; many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Epiphany RC Church, Brick. Cremation is private.
