Obituary for Robert Q. Wilcox
Robert Q. Wilcox, 90 of Spring Lake Heights passed away peacefully at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune on Wednesday, August 8, 2018
He and his late wife had maintained residences in Mountainside and Spring Lake Heights for many years. As a resident of Spring Lake Heights, he was a Communicant of St. Catharine’s Church.
A NY Mets fan, Robert and Josephine were also avid golf fans and had traveled the world attending many professional events. They had attended 30 U.S. Opens, several British Opens, The Master’s and 2 Presidents Cups and had the honor of meeting Arnold Palmer.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine in 2017. Surviving are many close friends Keith, Karen, Nicole, Chris and Jake Heilos and neighbors from Spring Lake Heights and Mountainside as well as his Caregivers; Viviene, Tannecia and Mariber.
A Funeral Service and Entombment in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union were held on Friday, August 10, 2018.
Arrangements were under the direction of the O’Brien Funeral Home, Wall Township. www.obrienfuneralhome.com
