Condolence From: Sissy Holterhoff
Condolence: Hello Janet. I am the daughter of old friends of Dick and Claire Langstaff. They were best friends with my parents, Ed and Helen Holterhoff of Hawthorne. My oldest brother, Tom, and Ricky were the same age and shared many happy childhood days together and with both families. We have a few of Dick's paintings - one cherished painting of my father hanging in Tom's home in Rancho Mirage, CA. We talked about Rick just today and found this tribute from a few years ago, so sad to think he's gone. We had fun with the Langstaff's - Dave, too. Anyway, my most sincere condolences so long after the fact. We were very sad to learn that Rick died.

Condolence: I have known Rick since the mid 70s. We lost touch for a number of years, and reconnected this summer.

He seemed great then, and I am thankful that his passing was quick. He was an incredibly sweet guy.

Condolence: Janet, Debby and I are deeply saddened by your sudden loss. I have many fond memories of holidays spent with Rick and still remember going on bike rides with him to Hamilton College and when he gave me my first pair of clipless pedals.
