Jay Patrick Farrell, 42, of South Amboy, passed away on August 27, 2018. Born and raised in Brick, Jay joined the Steamfitters Union right after high school. He was so proud of his work, and was a devoted member of Local 638. Jay’s happiest days were spent on the beaches of Costa Rica, on a surfboard, or simply with his beloved family. Although the sun has set for Jay in this life, we believe that he will be with us with each new day.
Jay is survived by his devoted wife Shelly, and cherished children - Valery Luna Ramirez and Jay T, all of South Amboy. Jay also leaves his mother Frances Bucino, brother Jeffrey & wife Dina-Marie, brother Brandon, and sister Aimee Schwindt. Jay was the nephew of Patricia Bucino and Anthony Bucino; and he was the proud uncle of Samuel & Michael Farrell and Ryan & Jarrett Sansone. He also leaves many other loving relatives and countless friends.
