Condolence: Dr. Bogdan was my pediatrician and even though I lived out of the area I wanted him to be my child’s Dr. also. When I was a kid I actually thought he was my own personal Doctor. I guess that’s because he treated us not so much a patients and kids but as individuals. He always talked to us and asked us how we were feeling as opposed to having our parents talking for us. He worked for many years with my Mom who is an RN, including working together at the Well Baby Clinic so the fact that they were friends made me feel like he was not just my Doctor but also my friend too. I remember when it was time for me to go off to college and get my pre-college physical I refused to go to an “adult” doctor and would only go see Dr. Bodgan. Here I was 17 years old and the biggest “kid” in the office with all of these little kids staring at me. Dr. Bodgan just laughed at me and said he guessed he would see me next year! He was a great friend to my family, a great colleague of my Mom, a great Doctor but most of all a great person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Condolence: Dr. Bogdan, you were larger than life! Give dad a big bear hug, will you? He'll be so happy to chuckle with you again, and his yard could probably use some more of your cannas. Remembering you, your laugh, and your generosity with fondness and respect.

Condolence: Dr Bogdan was my doctor as a child even up through college age. I always remember his bowties, smile and overall good nature when I went to see him. But most of all I remember he saved my life. Literally. In 1989, I had just graduated from Villanova, had a good job right our college and had recently meet a women I would marry later (and still married to her). Life was good, until I contracted Lymes disease in August of that year. In 1989 Lymes was a brand new disease and not a whole lot was known about it, especially by many doctors. It attacked my nervous system hard and fast. I couldn't work, talk or do much of anything. I was bed ridden and basically useless. For about 2 months I went to nearly half a dozen doctors who could not figure out what was wrong. All along I was getting worse. I though I was not going to make it or at best be disables for life. Finally my mom took me back to Dr Bogdan. He was one of the few doctors at the time who was knowledgeable about Lymes. He immediately suggested this might be my problem and began to treat me. Well, it worked. It took over a month of treatments and tests but I was cured. His quick reaction and devotion to my problem during this time saved my life. Trust me, I am not being dramatic or over valuing what he did. I was in really bad shape and no one could help until he did. I suffer no side effects and have had a healthy life ever since. So I just wanted to once again say thanks to the man who saved my life and express my deepest condolences to his family. may god bless him forever.

Condolence: Dear Bogdan Family, We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Bogdan. He was our son and nephew's pediatrician from the time of their births until they entered college. He was truly an outstanding, dedicated, and compassionate physician. The boys loved hearing about his fishing adventures, and Dr. Bogdan was keenly interested in their educational achievements. During one of our visits,he received a call from his son, Dr. Joseph P.,while we were in the examining room. Upon completing his conversation, he said to us, "Imagine that! My son, an orthopedic surgeon, is calling me for advice!" Dr. Bogdan was completely committed to taking care of all the needs of each child entrusted to his care.He was the BEST of the best! His legacy will live on through all the children and families who were so fortunate to have been touched by him. May God grant him eternal rest. With heartfelt sympathy, The Scully Family

Condolence: May fond memories of your loved one bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before she passed away. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. God has promised us that we will soon be reunited with our loved ones. “There is going to be a resurrection,” the Bible confirms at Acts 24:15. “Do not be amazed at this,” Jesus assures us, “for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29)

Condolence: I cannot say I remember Dr. Bogdan well at all, but I have never forgotten the name. He was my doctor (and my little sister's) throughout our childhood growing up in Marlboro. I have two nearly grown children of my own now, and I have a "Dr. Bogdan" who has taken care of them all their lives and is quite special to me. It is easy to understand how my parents must have felt about this wonderful man. I am sad to hear of his passing, but I am gladdened to learn he had such a happy and fulfilling life. My condolences to his family.
