Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Patrick Judge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Patrick J. Judge

Patrick J. Judge, 82, passed away on July 10, 2017 at the Lyons VA Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn and went on to serve in the US Navy. After serving our country, Pat enjoyed a successful career in real estate and retired from General Services Administration in Manhattan. Pat and his loving wife Maura had two children, Denise and Patrick.
In 1993, Pat and Maura moved to Wall Township. He was a parishioner of Saint Catharine Church in Spring Lake, a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and an avid art collector. Above all, he was a devoted family man.
Patrick was predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Mary Judge, and his sister, Margaret Judge. He leaves his wife Maura (nee Breslin), brother James Judge of Long Island, NY, and children Denise Collaro and husband Michael Collaro of Spring Lake, NJ and son Patrick Judge of Brooklyn Heights, NY. He has three grandchildren, Chelsey Altomaro and husband Frank of Old Greenwich, CT, Brittany Smith and husband Emmett of Spring Lake Heights, NJ, and Jillian Schatzman and husband Steve of Manhattan, NY, and two great granddaughters Reese and Max Altomaro. Pat will also miss his many loving friends.
Visitation will be at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, NJ on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm and 7-9pm. Memorial Mass will be offered at Saint Catharine Church, 215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ on Thursday at 9am. Burial services will be held at a later date at the NJ Veterans Cemetery.
