William B. Beese, 72, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Bill worked as a postal worker for over 30 years at the New Jersey Bulk & Foreign Mail Center in Jersey City before retiring 12 years ago. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Jersey City Council and enjoyed watching the NY Jets.

Born and raised in Jersey City, he moved to Brick in 1978.

Mr. Beese was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret Beese; and by his sister, Mary Ann Connelly. Surviving are his wife of 40 years; Linda E. (Kaelin) Beese; daughter, Jennifer L. Beese of Brick; son, Michael W. Beese and his wife, Joanna of Cherry Hill; sister, Patricia Orlowski and her husband, Richard of Bayonne; brother Robert Beese of Tennessee as well as many loving nieces and nephews and the family dog, his pal, Chloe.

Visiting will be on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held on Friday 11am in the funeral home. Final interment will be held privately. Donations may be made in his honor to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater New Jersey or St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
