Condolence: Patty was my nurse for over the last ten years at the Outpatient Oncology Center at Ocean Medical Center. I am not a cancer patient, but I went monthly to the Oncology Center for an iv infusion to treat an auto immune disease. Even after 10 years of treatment, all the nurses knew I was very nervous about the insertion of the iv needle, but Patty got it in on the first try every time. Since Patty was on disability leave and I had other nurses inserting my iv, I would tell them "you're good, but NOT AS GOOD AS PATTY!" We became good friends over the years, and I always looked forward to seeing her each month, and discussing what was going on in our lives. Patty was a very special, caring person who I am proud to call my friend. I gave her a Guardian Angle bracelet a few months ago to let her know that she will always be watched over. Every month I would ask one of the nurses how she was doing, and she said o.k. I am devastated to hear of her passing, and she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My condolences go out to her husband, her two sons, and the rest of her family.

Condolence From: Frank Baldassarre
Condolence: Patricia, Your mom was my cousin and she and I met many times. We probably met when there were family get togethers but I do not remember meeting you. If you were anything like your mom, you must have been a nice person. She was a friendly person. Always smiling like her brother Nick. I'm sorry you had to leave us so soon. The fact people referred to you as Patty indicates a closeness to you. Rest in peace Patty, Your mom's cousin, Frank Baldassarre

Condolence: To Greg, Steve and Mike and all their families, I cannot begin to tell you how much I will miss Patty. Being on the other side of the world makes this so much more difficult -How do I begin to try and offer something other than words to support you. Patty will always be a part of me. From our teens to our twenties, we shared school, tennis, travel and families. With Steve there was a roadtrip to Notre Dame. With Mark P there were our regular get togethers during visits home. I always hoped and wished that she would come to Australia one day. We shared so many great times: it will be hard not to have that connection anymore. I am so proud of all her achievements and her decisions to change careers from teaching to nursing and the accolades she gained from her caring for her patients. Her boys are her pride and joy. I am so proud to have been her friend and to me she will always be my "Pretty" friend, a nickname that we shared with our other tennis mate Sandy. So Rest now Pretty, you played a good match, you gave it your all and you leave behind a huge amount of people who will always remember what you have done for them. Love to you, Sandy

Condolence: Deepest condolences to the Fernandes and Weber families. Patty was beautiful inside and out. My heart breaks over her loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Patty at the Pond playing tennis and when she coached my sisters on the LHS girls tennis team. I had the opportunity to play mixed doubles with Patty in the Linden city championships. I still have our 2nd place silver plate. We may not have won, but we had the most fun. You made a true difference in this world. Rest in Peace. Steve
