Joseph McGadey, Jr., age 49, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born in Perth Amboy and raised in Hillside before moving to Manasquan at the age of 13.

Joseph was a Master Plumber and owned and operated his own plumbing business, Joe Plumber in Manasquan where many people knew him.

His greatest joy in life was being with all of his loving family and many friends.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Megan in September 2018.

Surviving are his loving parents, Joseph McGadey, Sr. and Mary McGadey; his sister, Christine Amaro and her husband, Kevin; his step-son, Taylor Rogers and his wife, Karen; his step-daughter, Aisha Rogers; his two nieces, Braedyn and Julianna; and his grandson, Sky along with many family and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 6-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May 25th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Denis RC Church, Manasquan. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Manasquan VFW or Manasquan Elks.

Due to NJ mandates, face covering must still be worn indoors.
