Dominick Testino, 74, of Toms River passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019 with his wife by his side at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mr. Testino worked for Xerox for over 34 years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the US Army from 1965-1968 stationed in Germany. He was a graduate of Memorial High School in West New York and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bloomfield College. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed taking cruises that travelled the world.
Born in Jersey City, he grew up in Guttenberg and lived in North Bergen before moving to Shark River Hills in 1972. He has lived in Toms River for the last 19 years.
Mr. Testino was predeceased by his parents, Matteo and Lucia. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Dorothy P. (Halloran) Testino; son, Derek Jon Testino and his wife, Stacey of Spring Lake Heights; daughter, Donna Marie Testino of Little Egg Harbor; brother, Pasquale Testino and his wife, Bridget of Barnegat; a grandson, Grayson and a much loved family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10:30am on Wednesday at St. Catharine’s RC Church, 215 Essex Avenue, Spring Lake. Final interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
