Aida Kamel Hanna, age 78, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at her home in Sea Girt. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Aida immigrated to the United States in the 1970’s where she, her husband and their daughter moved to Long Island, NY. They then went on to live in Syracuse, NY for many years before moving to the Princeton area and finally Sea Girt, NJ for the last 17 years.

Mrs. Hanna worked as a French teacher for Faith Heritage School in Syracuse, NY prior to her retirement.

Aida was a very active member of Grace Bible Church. She loved cooking but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Samir Hanna in 2011; her siblings, Azmi, Lily and Nabila.

Surviving are her loving children, Mark Hanna and his wife, Heather and Gigi Minish and her husband, Joseph; her cherished grandchildren, Jack, Robert and Lily Minish, Zach and Max Hanna.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall, NJ 07719 followed by the interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
