Ann Burke Taylor, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday August 19th 2022 in hospice with family at her side. 

Ann was born on July 26, 1926 the third of four children of Margaret and Walter Burke.  Growing up in Belmar, N.J., she graduated High School from St. Rose Catholic School.  She married Robert J. Taylor and raised four children, Michael, Tim, MaryAnn and Suzanne.

She loved growing up close to the ocean spending many happy hours at the beach.  After marriage the family traveled extensively including living in Japan for a time.  Blessed with good health, her love of travel continued into her late 80’s as she enjoyed taking cruises with her nieces and children.  No matter the many challenges life presented, her focus and strength was always family and faith.  A kind and caring person, she was happiest when surrounded by family.

Ann is survived by two of her children, Michael and Tim, four grandchildren (Kate, Ben, Brian and Robert) and one great grandson (Jackson).  

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catharine Catholic Church, 215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake NJ, at 10:30 AM on Friday September 9, 2022.  There will be no viewing. Flowers can be sent directly to the Church.
