Obituary for Antoinette J. Baker (Lombardi )
Antoinette J. Baker, 92, formerly of Manasquan passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Sunnyside Manor in Wall. Mrs. Baker was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always put her family first. Antoinette worked as a bookkeeper for Gammon Technical in Sea Girt before retiring many years ago. She was a communicant and member of St. Denis RC Church in Manasquan.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Bradley Beach and Point Pleasant Beach before becoming a Manasquan resident for over 47 years.
Mrs. Baker was predeceased by her husband, William Henry Baker, Sr. in 1987; her sister, Florence Mary Dinkjian; and by her parents, Daniel and Mary Lombardi many years ago.
Surviving are her sons, William Henry Baker, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Brick and Mark Christopher Baker and his wife, Jeanette of Ellicott City, Md; her daughters, Christine B. Grodzki and her late husband, David C. Grodzki of Brick and Adrienne B. Drzymkowski and her husband, Peter of Point Pleasant; 15 grandchildren and their spouses; and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 11 from 8am-9am at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall. A funeral mass will be offered 9:30am on Friday, June 11 at St. Denis RC Church, Manasquan.
