Obituary for Antoinette Niciewski (Cerrato)

Antoinette Niciewski, 92, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Willow Springs Rehab in Brick. Mrs. Niciewski was a server at Doolan’s Shore Club for over 30 years before retiring in 1986. She also was well known at her post as a beach badge attendant at Pier Beach in Spring Lake. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Spring Lake Heights Seniors and was a communicant of the Church of the Epiphany in Brick.
Born and raised in Union Beach, she lived in Spring Lake Heights for many years before moving to Brick in 2001.
Mrs. Niciewski is reunited in Heaven with her husband, John J. Niciewski, Sr. who passed away in 1985. She was also predeceased by her parents, Charles and Louisa Cerrato; and three sisters, Rose, Mary and Anna. Surviving are her son, John Joseph Niciewski, Jr. and Mary Beth of Brick; daughter, Susan White and Dan Jadus of Brick; four grandchildren, Adam Niciewski (Brie), Erik Niciewski (Carly), Nicholas White and Christopher White (Shae); as well as her great grandson, Jackson.
Visiting will be on Friday from 4-7pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10am on Saturday at the Church of the Epiphany, 615 Thiele Rd., Brick. Burial will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery, 1100 West Chicago Blvd, Sea Girt. Donations may be made in her name to Epiphany RC Church.
