Barbara Anne Tilton "Dee Dee" (Jennings) of Wall passed away on June 21, 2022 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center at the age of 69.

Born on the Army base at Fort Monmouth on August 29, 1952, she was the only child of the late Roger and Grace Jennings. She was a Neptune High School graduate class of 1970.

In 1969 she married her late husband Leslie and settled in Belmar, owning and operating Tilton's Corner Store. They permanently settled in Wall in 1973. 

She was a long-time member of Hamilton United Methodist Church, Neptune.

She loved game shows, playing solitaire and taking occasional car rides to scope out the beach and changing demographics of the towns she grew up in. More than anything she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her loving children, Brian Tilton and his wife, Mary, Shaun Tilton, Michael Tilton and his fiancé, Trish, Sarah Tilton and Jessica Tilton; her grandchildren, Morgan, Brianna, Kateri, Lily, Brian Jr.,Willow, Jackson, Peter, Karina, Emily, Grace, Samantha, Dory, Eleanor, Alan and Evie; and her great grandson Damon. She will be missed by all of her extended family, friends, nieces, nephews, and many loved ones. 

Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 9-10 a.m. at Hamilton United Methodist Church followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton United Methodist Church, 858 Old Corlies Ave., Neptune, NJ 07753. Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
