Obituary for Barbara Ann Jamison (Fairchild)
Barbara Ann Jamison , 78, of Jackson passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jamison was an office administrator at McGraw Hill in East Windsor before retiring many years ago.
Born in Newark, she lived in Dover, Roxbury, and Marlboro before moving to Jackson 15 years ago.
She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Rose Fairchild; and by her brother, Richard Fairchild. Surviving is her loving husband of 32 years, Howard “Butch” Jamison; sons, Richard Zawistowski, Robert Zawistowski and his wife Patricia, all of Neptune; daughter, Shirley Mullen of Brick; sisters, Bernice Breidt of Gillette, PA and Janet Jensen of Boca Raton, FL; and 5 grandchildren, Robert, Ashley, Angela, James and his wife Victoria, and Crystal.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Final interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
